According to local media, stores and shopping centers across Denmark saw a “surprising” turnout yesterday, Friday, on the occasion of Black Friday, a day designated for shopping with offers and discounts on goods.
According to TV2, Niels Ralond, director of e-commerce at Dansk Erhverv, said that whether shopping online or in stores, there were "surprisingly" good discounts on Black Friday.
For example, on the payment and transfer application MobilePay alone, goods worth 881 million Danish kroner were purchased from Danish stores, an increase of 19% compared to last year.
