The source indicated that temperatures rise rapidly from about 15 to 20 degrees Celsius during the morning, then reach between 25 and 29 degrees Celsius in the afternoon in most parts of the country, while the weather remains more moderate on the island of Bornholm.

The source explained that one of the weather forecasting models relied upon by the TV2 weather team indicates the possibility of strong local thunderstorms forming on Thursday evening over the southeastern regions of Denmark. He added that these storms may be accompanied by very strong gusts of wind that may locally reach the strength of hurricane winds, especially in parts of Lolland, Falster and southern Zealand.
The report also stressed that these forecasts are based on only one weather model, while other models do not show the same weather conditions with the same intensity, but the possibility of exceptional and strong weather remains according to the current data.
