On Saturday evening, police made a rather unusual visit to an address near Bramming in Esbjerg, when a police patrol car crashed through the glass doors of a house in the area.

According to JydskeVestkysten, the incident occurred in Vejrup Storegade at 23:29. Police official Ole Ammann of the South Jutland Police was unable to comment to the media on what preceded the incident or why the police car driver had broken into a house. He did not speak about the incident to protect the investigation, as the incident was handed over to the Independent Police Complaints Authority.

According to the website Extrabladet, the homeowner was not inside when the police forced their way through the doors with a car. The homeowner told Extrabladet, "I received a call last night informing me that they had broken into my house.".
