According to the Danish Food Agency, Meds is withdrawing
The Danish company Midsona Danmark A\/S has banned organic dried red beans from the brands Urtekram and \u00c4nglamark, due to their high content of the pesticide carbofuran.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why is the product being withdrawn from the market?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Excessive levels of the pesticide carbofuran were found in the product. Therefore, a health risk cannot be ruled out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But the most important thing is that consumers are not exposed to large quantities of pesticides over a long period. The problem isn't a single meal, but rather consuming it over a longer time. Therefore, consumers will not experience severe symptoms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
