The far-right movement emerged in Denmark in 2023<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Hansen explained that the movement, which originated in America, arrived in Denmark in 2023 and targets young people and boys, combining violent sports and martial arts training with the dissemination of extreme nationalist ideas. Since its emergence, it has managed to attract nearly 2,500 followers on the encrypted messaging app Telegram.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Hansen said, \u201cI think there\u2019s good reason for parents to be concerned. Online life has become such an integral part of young people\u2019s lives, perhaps even more so than real life.\u201d He added, \u201cThe danger is that these young people might embrace conspiracy theories or accept violence as a means to achieve political goals.\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Report of the Documentation and Intervention Center Against Extremism<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Last May, the center issued a comprehensive report on the movement\u2019s activities in Denmark, warning of its expansion and asserting that its ideology has roots in neo-Nazism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Hansen also urged parents to monitor their children's digital activity and talk to them seriously about the dangers of the internet, explaining: "The dialogue should not be motivated by control, but by curiosity and concern, otherwise it will lead to a secret digital life for young people.".<\/p>\n\n\n\n Danish Security and Intelligence Service: The threat of terrorism is increasing<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The Security and Intelligence Service (PET) included Active Club in its 2024 and 2025 reports, noting that the movement combines physical training with ideological indoctrination. The agency stated: \u201cThere is a growing trend towards real-world organization, where virtual activities are complemented by actual events, combining physical training with the inculcation of far-right ideology.\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Government center: The internet is a gateway for recruiting young people<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n On the Telegram platform, the movement posts photos and videos of combat training and group trips, along with quotes from thinkers, some of whom are from far-right circles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Hansen asserts that these digital activities \u201care a key gateway through which extremist thought seeps into the minds of young people, away from the eyes of the family.\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n He added: \u201cIn the past, parents stood as a physical barrier to what entered the child\u2019s room. Today, the internet provides direct access to their minds without any intermediary.\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The movement's response to the BT reports: "We are not extremists and we do not seek violence."\u201c<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n According to the source, BT contacted the Active Club Denmark movement and presented them with Hansen's statements. In a written response, a spokesperson for the movement, identified as METZ, declined a direct interview but provided a lengthy reply, which read:<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cRegarding Kenneth Schmidt-Hansen\u2019s assumptions and insinuations about a readiness to use violence, we must objectively affirm that we are not ready for violence, nor do we consider ourselves extremists. If we trace the origin of the term 'conspiracy theory,' we find it stems from Charles Astor Breasted's letter to the New York Times, in which he claimed that the British aristocracy was deliberately undermining the United States during the American Civil War. The Oxford Dictionary defines the term as 'a theory which posits that an event or phenomenon is the result of a conspiracy between several secret and powerful entities.'.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Today, the term 'conspiracy theory' is used in mainstream media as a tool to dismiss any claim. But the so-called 'Great Replacement' is not a claim; it's a reality supported by demographic data showing a significant population shift, not only in Denmark but across the West. Whether it's orchestrated or not is debatable, but it's an undeniable fact.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n We do not recruit underage individuals. However, it is undeniable that many young people are seeking environments that preserve and defend Danish identity. These young people feel that Denmark has changed, whereas their parents lived in a different era and did not experience these demographic shifts in the same way.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n As for labeling us as 'extremists,' that's a relative term. The Latin root of 'extremus' means 'farthest' or 'extreme'. Given the current state of society, our position might be considered extreme, but 40 years ago, unrestricted border openings or financial support for immigrants would also have been considered extreme. In reality, it's a matter of two opposing poles, and the changes we're witnessing today are a product of this conflict.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n We would also like to point out that we have reviewed an analysis published by the Swedish Migration Agency (Udl\u00e6ndingestyrelsen) and found it to be entirely inaccurate, as it relies solely on interpretations from politically biased sources, whether media outlets like ABC News or the Anti-Defamation League (ADL). A genuine analysis must be objective and impartial. Similarly, we or other right-wing media outlets could conduct analyses of the "trends" and "early prevention" initiatives of organizations that support mass migration.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n In conclusion, Metz said:\u201cIf there are those who oppose people who uphold Danish and European identity and use martial arts as a means of learning and discipline, then yes, they may consider us a threat.
