After a perfect summer day… thunderstorms and possible hail are expected today in several Danish cities.

According to TV2, Denmark may experience varying intensities of rain on Sunday, with the possibility of thunderstorms and hail in some areas, particularly in the south and southeast of the country.

TV 2 explained that the rain will be more stable in northern and central Jylland, while in the south and southeast it will turn into strong thunderstorms that may be accompanied by lightning, hail and local heavy rain.

The report indicated that remnants of storms coming from Germany had already reached South Jutland this morning and were expected to move later towards the island of Zealand and areas of eastern Denmark.

The website added that some areas may experience locally heavy rainfall of up to 20 or 30 millimeters over a short period, with the possibility of temporary water accumulations.
